Bill & Janice Hurlburt
I started singing in my home church in Kentucky and sang for a time in high school on the radio with the Kentucky Men’s Choir. My Aunt was the one to encourage me and was my cheering section.
My wife Janice and I met at the hospital where we both worked while I was finishing my degree we worked together for nearly 30 years until Janice retired.
We moved around the country quite a lot due to the demands of my career and when we into our ‘retirement’ home in Fort Worth on our 30th wedding anniversary it was our 30th move! Needless to say Janice was dug in.
We’ve been married for 35 years and our 2 grown children, their spouses and the Lord have blessed us with3 granddaughters and I grandson, what a joy!
Our family has always been active in church, teaching Sunday School, singing in the choir and enjoying all the fellowship dinners. The Lord has blessed me with a gift of talking and listing to thoses who are stumped or troubled and kind of allows me to be a sounding board so they can figure out some of their questions and have a few passages of scripture to help them along.
My true love of Southern Gospel Music to praise and glorify God and help others to understand how much He wants to love them keep me so happy - some people wonder what I’m up to!
I have looked for a true music ministry for some time, with like minded people who love the Lord and I thank God for the Humbles Hands Family.
